winter dreaming
A day of year-end renewal
at solstice
As the wheel of the year turns us towards the winter, and things begin to quiet down on the landscape, you might find that you feel drawn to reflect, dream, and vision for the year to come.
Winter Dreaming is a space for you to deepen into your vision, get clarity on your intentions and to take stock of all that’s passed at this doorway to the new year!
Through guided reflection, community time around the fire, nature connection and ritual, we’ll spend the day steeped in solstice magic to leave you feeling more connected and aligned.
“When darkness falls, beauty is lit from within”
— John O’Donohue
a light in the dark
Whether it’s the darkest part of the year, the unknown within you OR the uncertain times in the world that we’re facing, one powerful way to find ground in the groundless is to look to the natural world. What can nature teach us about the season of darker days and longer nights?
Winter solstice! - a time when seeds are resting underground. Which ones will sprout in the spring? How was this year’s growing season? What light is wanting to shine through? What lessons does the dark hold about rest, stillness, dreams?
Solstice invites us into an ancient cycle of renewal, one that is teaming with creativity. One that may just be necessary to help us through these times.

Hi! I’m Carly, an ecotherapist, counsellor, song lover and mud slinger from the the rolling hills of Southern Ontario. I love creating spaces where people can explore the inner landscape and remember their own, wild brilliance. I spend much of my time trying to remember forgotten instructions, and am curious about ancient technologies for cultural repair. Don’t be alarmed if I welcome the whole you into the room- mess, beauty and all:)
